Imminent Entertainment’s first feature film, Written & Directed by Jason Slingerland, Coffee Shop Kings was released in 2008. The film was shot entirely in Michigan, primarily Zeeland and Grand Haven. The film won the Audience Choice Runner Up Award at the Muskegon Film Festival.
SYNOPSIS: Amidst the dead of winter in a Great Lakes beach town, Seth (Eric Hatch) has just been dumped by his girlfriend of two years. Walking the icy streets, he makes his way into where he finds his estranged friend Kevin (Taylor deRoo). As they pick up the pieces of their derailed friendship, Kevin introduces Seth to the rarely noticed residents of this hibernating tourist haven: A homeless man, a would-be mobster, a beat poet and the coffee jockeys, among others. Can Seth and Kevin find a way out of this comfortable underground?
