Here’s all the pertinent info:

At this time we are seeking 2 males, 18-30 for the lead roles.

Musicians/Actors encouraged to apply.

Applicants must people able to sing in an folk/acoustic style.  Auditions will require singing.

Ability to play guitar or bass is a plus, but not required.

If you are interested please send a headshot or recent photo and a resume with any related acting or singing experience to IEFilmsCasting (at) Gmail (Dot) com. If you have a singing sample feel free to send that along as well.

Rehearsals for the film will begin in January and continue through production.  In March 2012 the main cast will have the opportunity to record a studio album of music to be used in the film.

We are also seeking a variety of crew positions and also other roles, please feel free to contact us at the same email listed about if you are interested.

All payment for this project will be on a deferred basis.  However, lodging, travel and food will all be covered by Imminent Entertainment.

More information on Boomtowns:

Boomtowns is the 4th feature film by Imminent Entertainment.  The script was written by Jason Slingerland and he will also direct the film.  The film will shoot in May and June of 2012.

SYNOPSIS: Boomtowns tell the story of a folk trio who travels around Michigan living the Bohemian life out of their car while playing shows to support themselves. Things take an interesting turn when their car breaks down and they decide to spend the summer playing shows and living on Mackinac Island.
