Imminent Entertainment was founded in 2005 in Kalamazoo, Michigan by filmmakers Jason Slingerland and Troy A. Smith with the goal of creating a production company that is committed to making independent films in Michigan.
Currently, the company has produced three feature length films, Coffee Shop Kings (2008), Hobocon (2009) and the soon to be released film Atrophy.
