After a few months of casting, we have finally selected all lead roles for our upcoming film, Boomtowns. We were very pleased with the result of our auditions. It’s always great to see such wonderful Michigan talent and to be given ample options for our lead roles.

We are currently casting for Boomtowns, the new feature film by Imminent Entertainment that will be filmed May-June 2012.
Here’s all the pertinent info:
At this time we are seeking 2 males, 18-30 for the lead roles.
Musicians/Actors encouraged to apply.
Applicants must people able to sing in an folk/acoustic style. Auditions will require singing.
Ability to play guitar or bass is a plus, but not required.

Rehearsals for the film will begin in January and continue through production. In March 2012 the main cast will have the opportunity to record a studio album of music to be used in the film.

All payment for this project will be on a deferred basis. However, lodging, travel and food will all be covered by Imminent Entertainment.

Boomtowns is the 4th feature film by Imminent Entertainment. The script was written by Jason Slingerland and he will also direct the film. The film will shoot in May and June of 2012.
SYNOPSIS: Boomtowns tell the story of a folk trio who travels around Michigan living the Bohemian life out of their car while playing shows to support themselves. Things take an interesting turn when their car breaks down and they decide to spend the summer playing shows and living on Mackinac Island.
Recently, I had the pleasure of being interviewed on the television show “Monday Night Live”. This is a locally produced show in Kalamazoo. I was interviewed by my friend, the actor Arlie Hammons. We chatted about past, current and future Imminent productions. Including, our newest film, Atrophy, which is in post production.
